Craniosacral Therapy Treatments

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a holistic care treatment that enhances the body’s ability to heal and function at its best. It is a gentle hand-on, light touch therapy that is used to examine the connective tissue (fascia) and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system focusing on the cranial bones, spine and sacrum. CST is believed to help with chronic pain, migraines, speech impairments, insomnia, digestive disorders, TMD, ear infections, mood disorders, sinus infections, fascial restrictions, breastfeeding latch, scar tissue remediation, inflammation, and overall health and well-being AND it’s great for bodies in most any stage (pregnancy, postpartum or just in need of a little care).

  • Relaxation Sessions

Craniosacral Therapy for adults can help calm the nervous system, reduce restrictions and pain in the body, and facilitate an overall sense of relaxation and well-being. CST has been known to help with anxiety, stress, digestive disorders including IBS and UC, pelvic floor dysfunction, back pain, and imbalance in the body. It is a holistic treatment that addresses the mental, physical and emotional components of the body.

  • Pregnancy Sessions

Pregnancy Sessions focus on bringing the body into balance and easing any pain caused by your changing body. This session will focus on the core and pelvis to help release areas of tension and align the body to get baby into an optimal birth position and allow pelvis to be able to open easier for baby’s arrival.

  • Postpartum Sessions

Postpartum Sessions are for women who have carried a live birth, no matter how much time has passed. In this session, we focus on postpartum patterns and address issues such as incontinence (peeing when sneezing or exercising), pain with intercourse, low back pain, difficulty with breathing and perinatal mood disorders. The goal is to help your body be in balance and harmony to support your mental, physical, and emotional well-being so you can feel like you, again.

Contraindications and Additional Resources
